HUGO ARMSTRONG (Professor Pierson) has been seen in performances at Theatre of NOTE, Sacred Fools Theater Company, the Mark Taper Forum, REDCAT, Lincoln Center Theater, The Theater @ Boston Court, Geffen Playhouse, Echo Theater Company, Circle X Theatre Co., and, most recently, at South Coast Rep in All the Way by Robert Schenkkan. On television, he has recurring roles as Ed Clark on Stitchers, Vernon Trimbol on Fear the Walking Dead, and Agent Coyle on NCIS, as well as proudly appearing in the controversial “Red Tent” episode of the Duplass Brothers series, Room 104. He is also featured in numerous movies, including the upcoming Roman J. Israel, Esq. (directed by Dan Gilroy and starring Denzel Washington and Colin Farrell), Nostalgia (with Nick Offerman, Jon Hamm, and Catherine Keener), and in the currently playing Lucky (directed by John Caroll Lynch and starring Harry Dean Stanton and David Lynch). Hugo is a graduate of CalArts.
