Bass JAMES HAYDEN is a singer, composer, and vocal arranger with a particular fondness for contemporary and avant-garde repertoire. He recently made his debuts at Boston Court Performing Arts Center in Philip Glass’ A Madrigal Opera and with The Industry in their “mobile opera” Hopscotch. In the past year, he also recorded Patrick Cassidy’s new opera, Dante, with LA Opera, was the baritone soloist in Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, and attended Marilyn Horne’s artist training program, the Music Academy of the West. Other notable engagements include singing on the Game of Thrones: Live concert tour, performing two concerts with The Rolling Stones on their 50th Anniversary Tour, and two appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His voice can be heard on many movie and video-game soundtracks, including Star Wars: Episode VII, Godzilla, Minions, Jurassic World, The Hangover Part III, and League of Legends. When not embodying villains or wise priests on the operatic stage, he writes award-winning pop a cappella charts for ensembles in Southern California and Texas.
