Tomas Davo a.k.a Fausto Bahia is originally from Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Co-Founder of N.A.A.F.I along with Mexican Jihad. He has been head of the label, booking agent and A&R for more than 6 years.
During the last years Fausto Bahia along with N.A.A.F.I have been an importan part in the development of electronic music in Mexico, transcending its proposal of experimental electronic with Latin American Roots worldwide which has led them to perform their ideas in platforms such as Mutek, EDC, Mixmag, The Fader, Pitchfork, Tiu Mag, A sound among others.
Lao has been involved in the electronic music since 2011, as a producer and self-taught dj; since the mid-2000’s his work has focused on alternative dance production. In 2010 he founded 401.MX with the propose to inspire and promote Latin American electronic music in a formal, constant way, and boosting the position of the Latin scene worldwide.
In his production, Lao works with classical sounds, avant-garde dance pieces that rethink his identity. He is part of the 2014 generation Red Bull Music Academy in Japan. In 2015 Lao made his first European tour with 11 dates in 6 countries, culminating with his performance at the Sonar 2015 Festival in Barcelona.
Alberto Bustamante is Mexican Jihad, originally from Oaxaca, Oaxaca. He is an architect and creative director of N.A.A.F.I, Alberto does social research, consumer research and a lot of futuristic music, the project Mexican Jihad makes cultural and political connotations.His sets are known for putting everyone on the dance floor with easy and recognizable frictions genre easy and recognizable dance.
