The cultural organizations on Grand Avenue in DTLA are coming together for the third annual Grand Ave Arts: All Access. It will feature a wide range of performances, exhibitions, behind-the-scenes tours, and fun, interactive, family-friendly activities. Happening at Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Inspiration is where you find it – An Introduction to War of the Worlds by radio personality Alan Chapman

Learn more about the upcoming opera based on Orson Welles’ 1939 radio broadcast, during which DTLA’s defunct air raid sirens will broadcast the performance from Walt Disney Concert Hall, while performers at the sirens send their reports back to WDCH. Toyota Symphonies for Youth: Music Workshops
11am-1:30pm (Four 30 minute session, first-come, first-served)

The LA Phil education department will host music workshops designed for kids ages 5-11 and their families. There will be an instrument petting zoo in the Walt Disney Concert HallGarden, where you can get to know some instruments of the orchestra. You can also participate in a Scoring Stories percussion workshop in the W.M. Keck Children’s Amphitheatre, which is also within the garden.
